Satin Corset Measurements

Generally, corsets are sized according to bra band size.  If you wear a 38C, for example,  you would probably need a size 38 corset.  However, waist size plays a big role in how a corset is fitted.  Corsets are worn with a space in the back, (1-5 inches) which is covered by the laces.  Ideally, the space would be narrow at the waist and wider going up and down from the waist.  Check your bra band size against the charts below;  if your waist size falls within the range for your bra band size, then it is your size.  If your waist is smaller than the size, which matches your bra band, you will need to go down a size.  If your waist is larger than the size, which matches your bra band size, you will need to go up a size. Never order a corset that is the same size, or larger than your natural waist.  DD cups generally need to go up a size.  As you will see in the charts, the bust  can be cinched down.

The sexy *back cleavage*  is achieved by tight lacing of the corset.  This is traditional, but  isn't necessary if you don't care for the look.
